Hinkley Point C is the main focus of Matthew's current nuclear work, bringing nuclear-security delivery, supplier development, digital QEHS, project assurance and nuclear-safety expectations into one programme environment. Sizewell C sits within the same £105m portfolio and extends the governance approach across a second major UK nuclear programme.

Hinkley Point C represents £45m and Sizewell C £60m of the £105m portfolio within Matthew's current remit.

Nuclear manufacturing · During Hinkley Point C delivery

UKCA certification and full-production assurance for nuclear electrical cabinets

Matthew led right-first-time assurance for safety-critical electrical cabinetry for the Nuclear Island, coordinating product and build evidence across IP/IK protection, UKCA, electrical safety and environmental qualification.

Entry into full production for an 800+ cabinet run included certified build documentation, First Article Verification (FAVe) test specifications and reports, Lifetime Quality Records (LTQR), plus HVAC failure, EMC and seismic test evidence.Read the manufacturing case
